Paying for College

The increasing costs of a college education continue to make headlines in newspapers across the country.  But by choosing Spoon River College you can stay ahead of those rising expenses.

An education at Spoon River College is 1/4 the cost of tuition at a public Illinois university and 1/10 the cost of a private four-year college. 

The staff in our Financial Aid office is well-acquainted with the variety of state and federal financial assistance resources, and they can provide information on loan programs for students and scholarships available through the Spoon River College Foundation and other programs.

The key to a successful financial assistance application is ensuring you provide all the necessary information in a timely manner.

Tuition Installment Payment Plan
Spoon River College has an agreement with fACTS Tuition Management/Nelnet to offer a convenient installment payment plan.  This program allows you to pay your tuition over time with minimal or no downpayment.
