We have received word that the limited funds are running out fast for the State of Illinois MAP Grant! MAP grants are used to cover tuition and fee costs. This years funds may be exhausted by early to mid-April. If you have not already done so, please apply for aid at www.fafsa.gov. If you have not filed your 2009 taxes, you can complete the FAFSA based on estimated information and then submit a correction once you have filed your taxes. Once MAP funds are exhausted, there is no appeal available.
The limited funding appliles only to State of Illinois funded programs. Funding is still available for federally funded programs (i.e. PELL).

Upcoming Schedule of Events
Loan Exit Counseling: If you are planning on transferring or graduating at the end of the Spring or Summer semester and have borrowed a Stafford Student Loan while attending SRC you must complete Exit Counseling. Exit Counseling can be completed by visiting www.NSLDS.ed.gov. If you fail to fulfill the requirement a hold will be placed on your account.
