Two Spoon River College nursing students, Carol Shaughnessy of Frederick and Sarah Beauchamp of Macomb, were awarded the Sheri L. Wood Memorial Nursing Scholarship. This scholarship is funded by the Illinois Community College System Foundation (ICCSF), and requires that a student have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and is expected to be employed in an oncology prevention related field in Illinois upon completion of the Nursing program at Spoon River College.
